Your Personal Account Manager is dedicated in handling your claim from commencement to completion.

Before contacting your Account Manager please follow the general Claims Reporting Procedures below that will better prepare us in notifying the appropriate insurers;

General

You must promptly inform us of any claim as soon as possible. This will enable us to action the claim as quickly as possible and minimise any chances of unnecessary delays. We will need full details of what has happened and details of anyone else involved should be collected at the time, and passed on to us. Photographs of any damages could assist insurers in understanding the extent of the claim after the incident.

Reporting

All claims (with the exception of Workers Compensation or Work Cover claims) should be notified to us as soon as possible.

Workers Compensation or Work Cover claims should be reported directly to your Work Cover Agent.

Once we have been notified by you of the loss or incident we will then arrange for the claim to be reported to your insurer and where appropriate, for loss assessors and repairers to be appointed to assist in the management of your claim.

Motor Vehicle
  • Make sure you get all details of all Vehicles and Drivers involved and note Location, Date & Time of Accident.
  • Complete a claim form.
  • We will arrange for an assessment of your Vehicle as soon as possible once the claim report is notified to us.

 

Home & Contents
  • Make sure that the premises are safe and secure.
  • For glass claims, contact one of the glaziers on the After Hours Emergency Contacts page to arrange repairs.
  • For Burglary claims, contact the police to report the incident, make a list of all items, which have been stolen or damaged by the intruders.
  • Contact us to report the incident and we will assist in lodging the claim, and advise you what other documents and paperwork may be required.

 

Commercial Property & Business
  • Make sure that the premises are safe and secure.
  • If the claim is for an external window, contact one of the glaziers on the emergency number page to arrange repairs.
  • For Burglary claims, contact the police to report the incident, make a list of all items, which have been stolen or damaged by the intruders.
  • Contact us to report the incident and we will assist with your claims speedy progress to settlement.

 

Liability Claims
  • It is of critical importance to record as much detail about the incident, any persons involved, and any witnesses, as soon as it is notified to you.
  • DO NOT make any admissions of liability, either Verbally or in Writing as this may affect your cover
  • Contact us to report the incident and we will advise you how to lodge a report of the incident and the general procedure to follow.
